Yossi Kagan launched Zevulon Capital in 2015. As Principal, Yossi oversees the firm’s growth and manages all acquisitions and dispositions, including financing, investor relations, project underwriting, budgeting, risk analysis and risk assessment. Yossi is data-driven yet relies heavily on instinct—often calling upon his 10+ years commercial real estate experience to predict market trends and source potential opportunities.
Focused on ZevCap’s long-term vision, Yossi stays rooted in the firm’s present-day operations and management. A diligent communicator, he is driven by the gratification of securing profitability for private investors and creating a sense of place for residential communities. Yossi’s previous role as Associate Broker for Pinnacle Realty of New York developed his real estate skill set and fostered his entrepreneurial spirit.
Levi Polter joined Zevulon Capital in 2018. As Principal, Levi is in charge of construction management, property management and property maintenance. His day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing property managers, maintenance technicians, contractors and third-party vendors. He also governs purchasing, accounts receivables and payables as well as property marketing.
With a responsive, go-getter approach, Levi ensures any construction or property issue is quickly addressed and resolved. He calls upon his critical thinking skills, 10+ years of professional experience and diverse industry knowledge to efficiently solve problems and get results. A serial entrepreneur, Levi’s previous business ownership experience informs his current, hands-on management style.
Director of Construction
Mendel Polter became the firm’s Director of Construction in 2019. Mendel manages property renovation and oversees property maintenance. His responsibilities include working with and sourcing contractors, governing quality control, managing construction materials and maintaining project budgets and schedules.
Using honed management and execution skills, Mendel works tirelessly to get the job done. He orchestrates multi-family renovations that can include extensive exterior and interior updates that boost curb appeal and improve resident livability. Driven by transformative results, Mendel uses his previous real estate experience and strong intuition to enhance the firm’s operations and construction processes.
Director of Operations
Since 2019, Nichole Franklin has served as Director of Operations. With 16 years’ industry experience, Nichole’s effective organizational and communication skills and her knowledge of industry rules and regulations make her a strong leader. Her responsibilities include operational policies and procedures implementation, new hire recruitment and staff management, learning & development.
Nichole excels at promoting a positive work environment and enacting operational processes for the firm’s success. Early in her career, Nichole started as a leasing agent and rose to property manager of a 1,000-unit asset with CRHMI. Her real estate experience teamed with her balanced personality enables Nichole to help position this firm as an industry leader.
